In 2007, I arrived in London—a musician with a guitar on my back, dreaming of conquering the local music scene. Things didn’t materialize as quickly as I had hoped. A year later, however, I was presented with an incredible opportunity to work at Berwick Street Studios as a studio engineer and producer.

At the time, I had no formal experience, but my enthusiasm and willingness to learn laid the foundation for my career. I focused on identifying my weaknesses and tackling them head-on—a mindset that became crucial to my growth.
The music industry is highly competitive, and establishing oneself as a professional is no small feat. But staying true to my passion and maintaining integrity helped me persevere. My enthusiasm for studio work grew alongside my love for playing music. I became captivated by the magic of analog recording gear and immersed myself in the technical aspects of sound engineering—transforming the seemingly mundane task of capturing sound into an art form.
Meanwhile, I expanded my musical abilities beyond my roots as a songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist. I learned to play various instruments, mastered sound synthesis, and developed the skills to produce entire tracks from start to finish.
Collaborating with Renowned Studios and Artists before establishing Blue Room Studios
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with dozens of artists across various genres. My journey took me to renowned studios like Denmark Street Studios and Soho Studios, where I collaborated with some of the industry’s most respected names.
I’ve worked with labels like Ninja Tune Records and Acid Jazz Records, and also partnered with companies such as Airbnb.
Highlights from this time include recording for James’ feature in Disorder Magazine and contributing to JK Rowling’s Lumos project via Short Form Film. These projects allowed me to refine my craft and build a reputation for quality and creativity.
Founding Blue Room Studios

In 2016, after eight years of freelancing and honing my sound, I founded Blue Room Studios. The studio’s first home was a small, noisy room beneath a trendy café in Shoreditch, East London—but it quickly became a hub for creativity and collaboration.
Since then, Blue Room Studios has recorded nearly 100 songs for artists and released a growing number of instrumental albums through libraries like Artlist, Bulletproof Bear, and Bibliothèque Music.
Our work has been pressed to vinyl and reviewed by respected publications such as Clash Magazine. Tracks from Artlist alone have been featured thousands of times on platforms like YouTube and TikTok.
Sync placements in campaigns for Ricola, McDonald Hotels, and the NHS have helped cement Blue Room Studios as a trusted name in production.
A New Chapter in Kilburn
In 2022, Blue Room Studios relocated to Kilburn—a move that opened up a brand-new chapter. Since the move, the studio has launched a growing channel of live video performances, offering an intimate look at artists in our creative space.
This new era also brought exciting collaborations with acts like Swim Deep and deepened our partnerships with sync companies such as Evolution Media—further expanding the reach and impact of Blue Room Studios in the ever-evolving music industry.
